Kefir has been all the rage lately with growing awareness of its vast health benefits, particularly in relation to the gut. With recipes as delicious as our Strawberry Kefir Smoothie, it won’t be hard to get around!

Nexba’s Kefir Strawberry and Peach blend is one of the newest additions to our range of drinks and already one of our favourites to include in recipes.

This Strawberry Kefir Smoothie recipe contains just 4 key ingredients and takes less than 5 minutes to prepare. It’s ideal for those who prefer a lighter breakfast or for a refreshing and nutritious morning or afternoon snack.

Tip – triple the batch and freeze them into ice blocks. It is a great healthy treat, especially for little ones who will think they’re eating ice cream!

Servings 1-2.

  • 250g frozen mixed berries
  • 250ml Nexba Strawberry & Peach Kefir
  • 250g coconut probiotic yoghurt
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2 tsp freeze-dried acai powder (optional)

  1. Combine all ingredients in a high power blender, blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour into a glass (or 2 glasses).
  3. Serve immediately or transfer to ice block moulds and freeze to enjoy later.
