These Stress Less Balls are packed with plant based protein, healthy fats and fibre. Made date free and naturally sweetened, they will satisfy chocolate cravings, help balance your blood sugar levels and keep you fuller for longer. This good mood food recipe is the perfect mid morning or afternoon pick-me-up for when stress snacking kicks in, brought to you by Casey-Lee Lyons from Live, Love, Nourish.
[ingredients]
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 125g Nexba Mixed Berry Kombucha
  • 250g desiccated coconut
  • 125g raw cashews
  • 125g raw macadamia nuts
  • 85g cacao powder
  • 63g ground almond
  • 63g rice malt syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp coconut flour

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean extract

  • Pinch sea salt 


To decorate (optional):

  • Desiccated coconut 

  • Frozen raspberries

  • Chia seeds

  • Sesame seeds 

  • Cocoa powder 

  • Crushed nuts
  • Granola

  1. Soak chia seeds in Nexba Mixed Berry Kombucha for 15-20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and seeds become gel-like.
  2. Add all ingredients to a high speed food processor. Pulse to combine until mixture sticks together. If mixture is too wet to roll, add additional ground almonds.
  3. Roll 1-2 tbsp portions of mixture into balls and coat.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.
  5. Store in air-tight container in refrigerator or freeze.
